Educational Background & Work Experience

Dr. Changpeng Huan is now Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in Linguistics at Macquarie University (2011.09-2015.03), under the supervision of the late Emeritus Professor Christopher N. Candlin (associate supervisors were Dr. Canzhong Wu and Dr. John Knox). His research areas cover news discourse, corpus linguistics, evaluative language, national image/identity, news values, and linguistic ethnography.
