To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Communist Party of China (CPC), the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), SJTU-Paris Tech Elite Institute of Technology, UM-SJTU Joint Institute, and Archives and Cultural Museum Management Center jointly organized the event of "Learn Four History and Read Classics——One Hundred People Multi-lingual Recital Celebrating the Centenary of CPC.”

Yu Chaoyang, chairman of SJTU’s Trade Union, Ding Jian, Secretary of CPC SFL Committee, Liu Zenglu, secretary of the general party branch of SJTU-Paris Tech Elite Institute of Technology, Yang Ming, secretary of the party committee of UM-SJTU Joint Institute, Zhang Dandan, secretary of the general party branch of Archives and Cultural Museums Management Center, Chang Hui, Executive Associate Dean of SFL, and teachers and students representatives from SFL, SJTU-Paris Tech Elite Institute of Technology and UM-SJTU Joint Institute, gathered in the conference center of the Wenbo Building to participate in the multi-lingual recital showcasing the 100-year history of CPC, welcoming the 100th anniversary of the founding of CPC with a wonderful audio-visual feast.

This performance was jointly planned by the Trade Unions of the three colleges and received strong support from the party organization of the units. Zhao Xiaohong and Jin Wenfeng, the leaders of SFL’s Trade Union, and Li Yi, Chairman of the Trade Union of SJTU-Paris Tech Elite Institute of Technology, and Yang Yanchun, Chairman of the Trade Union of UM-SJTU Joint Institute, are responsible for the implementation.

The performance kicked off in a unique multi-lingual recitation of the Communist Manifesto.

This performance celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of CPC by uniting the strength of teachers and students from multiple colleges and universities, which played a positive role in promoting the learning and education of party history, arousing the love for the party and the country, strengthening the faith of teachers and students in the country and continuing the red revolutionary bloodline, and further strengthening the determination of teachers and students of SJTU to make unremitting efforts to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
