On the afternoon of May 10th, SFL held the appointment ceremony of part-time tutor of Master of Translation at 107 Yang Yongman Building. Chang Hui, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages presented the appointment letter to Jiang Yanfei, director of Huawei Translation Center. Later, Jiang Yanfei gave a lecture on translation and language services in the age of intelligence in conjunction with the forefront of the translation industry. Chang Hui, Tao Qing, Vice Dean of the SFL; Zhu Yifan, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of the SFL and some teachers and students from translation Department and English Department attended the event.

Chang Hui reviewed the achievements of the long-term cooperation between the School of Foreign Languages and the Translation Center of Huawei Technologies Co., LTD., and hoped that the two sides could deepen their cooperation in talent training and translation technology in the future.

Jiang Yanfei introduced Huawei's philosophy and practical experience in terms of the quality requirements of translation talents in the new era, talent cultivation concept and industry demand in the context of Huawei Technologies' translation center's business and the era of big model.

The teachers and students present interacted with Jiang Yanfei on topics such as the relationship between translation and big model.
