The signing ceremony of joint construction and research meeting between Wuhan Optics Valley Talent Group Co., Ltd. and the School of Foreign Languages of Shanghai Jiao Tong University was successfully held in Wuhan Conference Center on the morning of July 11. Zhang Xiaoling, Party Secretary and Chairman of Optics Valley Talent Group, Ding Jian, Party Secretary of School of Foreign Languages of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhang Hao, Vice Minister of Organization Department of Party Committee and Vice President of Party School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhou Kai, Vice minister of Publicity Department of Party Committee of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and other teachers and students attended the event. The leaders in charge of the Organization Department of Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, and Wuhan Talent Work Bureau, as well as the heads of relevant cadre offices and talent offices attended the event, and introduced Wuhan's economic and social development, and the work of young cadres and talents. 

The executive leader of the Municipal Talent Bureau of the Municipal Party Committee Organization Department said that Wuhan's talent recruitment strategy coincided with college's and universities' plannings and expectations in talent training and employment work, and Wuhan's organization and personnel department will continue to work hard to promote accurate communication between the government, colleges and universities, employers and college students, and make greater efforts to attract college graduates to stay in and come to Wuhan to find employment and start business.
Zhang Xiaoling and Ding Jian respectively introduced the basic situation of co-construction. As one of the first national high-tech industrial development zones in China, Optics Valley Group has made several achievements of "China's first and the world's first" in the development of new productivity fields such as optoelectronic information, intelligent manufacturing, biotechnology, etc. The School of Foreign Languages of Shanghai Jiao Tong University has always adhered to the five strategies of "strengthening human resources, internationalization, interdiscipline, integration of industry, academia and research, and serving the needs of national strategy",  forged ahead with determination and continuous innovation, and had achieved excellent results in the fifth round of discipline evaluation of the Ministry of Education. 

It is hoped that with this cooperation as an opportunity, the two sides will jointly explore the mode of industry-university-research cooperation, build an innovation and entrepreneurship platform, promote the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements, attract more "foreign language +" composite innovative scientific and technological talents to settle in Optics Valley, and build a good channel for the integration of school-enterprise talents.

Hu Xueke, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Optics Valley Talent Group, and Ren Zhujing, Deputy Party Secretary of School of Foreign Languages of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, signed the co-construction agreement on behalf of the two sides respectively, witnessed by Sun Zhijun, Wang Hongwei, Zhang Xiaoling, Ding Jian, Zhang Hao and Zhou Kai. The participants held discussions and exchanges on school-enterprise cooperation, training of scientific and technological innovation talents, and recruiting talents.
